I have been aware of Delaware’s Rakeem Miles and the international OG Tribe for a while now. He’s a proactive artist, with a soulful flare that stretches beyond his years. An individual who has flourished in his own creativity. Miles’ sound has matured since his 2015 Adderall project.  “Do They Really Love You?” finds 22 year-old Rakeem in boulshyy spirits. The project’s rich & funky production gives an overall triumphant feel as a confident Rakeem Miles relays anecdotes and snippets of the real life struggles a starving artist faces. The humour and obvious lyrical ability make this an incredibly interesting release. From the trap-inspired beat of “Huffy Bike” (Production by Samsin) with its candid lyrics “I don’t need no hoes in my videos, you can keep your gimmicks”  to the lush, synth drive of “Falling”, where Miles stretches his vocal chords.

This 15-track project features a slew of vocal cameo appearances, OFWGKTA’s Mike G, YoAstrum, Major Myjah & Florida’s Merc. “Do They Really Love You?” is a quality release and we are pleased to be the first to share the stream link. Be sure to stream, share & purchase via iTunes. Congratulations to Rakeem, another quality release under the belt brother!
